Age Limit: 18 to 21 years as on 01.01.2013 [Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST-05 years, OBC-03 years, Sportsmen (UR/OBC-05 years and SC/ST-10 years)]. Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board at the time of filling up of the application form. 11th pass for Constables (Bandsmen), (Buglers), (Mounted), (Drivers), (Dispatch Rider) etc. of Delhi Police and sons of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel/ Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police. All aspiring candidates shall posses a valid driving licence for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) on the date of submission of application form. Learning driving licence is not acceptable. Application Form Fee: Rs. 100/- (in the form of demand/bank draft/banker’s cheque) drawn in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi and should be valid for 3 months.
The application fee for SC/ST and ex-serviceman candidates is exempted, however they will have to attach photocopy of caste certificate/discharge certificate/N.O.C. alongwith the application form, duly attested by a serving Gazetted Officer.
